The keepers

9 declared, 1 passed

A keeper uses a real pick, so those slots are gone before the draft starts. Value compares the pick it costs against where that player normally goes — positive means you're getting him later than the market does.

ManagerKeeperCostsCame fromADPValue
Value = the pick a keeper costs, minus that player's ESPN PPR average draft position. Christian Watson at pick 61 against a 94.5 ADP is −34: he'd likely have been there 33 picks later. It's a market comparison, not a prediction — ADP is where people draft, not how players finish.

Ranked

Which keepers actually gain the most

Value against ADP flatters late keepers just for being late. This asks a better question: how many projected points does a keeper give you over the best player who'd still be on the board at that same pick?

#KeeperManagerCostsProjEdgeBest alternative there
Every player is measured against replacement level at his own position — QB 292, WR 196, RB 193, TE 169 — because raw points don't compare across positions in a one-QB league. Kickers and defenses are left out; they're streamed, not drafted. Projections are ESPN's.

The board

Keepers are burned in at the pick they cost. Odd rounds run left to right, even rounds right to left.

The two-year clock

Who you can keep again in 2027

You get two years with a player, and the limit follows the manager, not the player — somebody else's expired keeper is a clean slate for you. Everyone below is in year one, so 2027 is the last year on him.

Nothing to grade yet

Once the draft is done, every pick gets measured against the best player still on the board when it came up — and each team is scored on how much of that it actually took. Reaching costs you; letting value slide costs whoever passed.

Keeper rules

All nine · what a keeper costs · the two-year clock

Complete redraft, but you may keep one player from last season, who then uses one of your draft picks. Keeping is optional — one player or none, no penalty for passing.

What it costs
went undrafted → round 7
drafted by anyone → that round − 1
  1. 1

    On your roster

The player has to already be on your roster.

  2. 2

    Round 4 or later

He has to have been drafted in the 4th round or later — or gone undrafted entirely.

  3. 3

    One round earlier

A keeper uses a pick one round earlier than where he was drafted last season. Keep a 4th-rounder and he becomes your 3rd-round pick.

  4. 4

    Undrafted costs a 7th

If he went undrafted that season, keeping him costs your 7th-round pick. If anyone drafted him, his cost comes off that round instead — even if you got him off waivers, free agency or a trade.

Updated Aug 2026. The old wording read as though any waiver pickup paid a flat 7th, which made a late-round wire find more expensive rather than less.

  5. 5

    Second year, one more round

Keep the same player two years running and he costs two rounds earlier than his original draft round. A 4th-rounder goes to your 3rd, then your 2nd.

  6. 6

    Two years maximum

Two seasons is the limit on any one player — and the clock follows the manager, not the player. If someone else already used their two years on him, you can pick him up and get your own two.

  7. 7

    Injury swap allowed

If your keeper gets hurt you can swap him for another player off your roster. The replacement is priced on his own history, so a swap can cost more than what it replaces. The injured player doesn't burn a year.

  8. 8

    Nobody gets dropped

You don't have to drop anyone. Tell KillaTae17 who you want and he sets it in the draft.

  9. 9

    The deadline

Keeper picks are due before the deadline — Saturday August 29th 2026 at 7:00 PM Pacific this season.

  1. Tank penalty

From week 10 on, every week you leave a starting spot empty — or start someone listed IR, OUT or on BYE — costs you 2 wheel spots off your season total.

Lineups must be set 90 minutes before kickoff; use auto-subs. A player ruled out inside that 90 minutes doesn't count against you.
